Acceptable Use Policy
The rules that keep LynkPilot safe, reliable, and fair for everyone.
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using the LynkPilot platform, including all associated software, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service"). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
You are responsible for your own use of the Service and for the use of any authorized users under your organization's account. Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination as described in Section 6.
2. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to, and agree not to permit any user or third party to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity;
- Upload, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or organization;
- Use the Service to send unsolicited or unauthorized commercial communications (spam);
- Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent.
3. Security and Integrity
You agree not to, and agree not to permit any user or third party to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other organizations' data, other accounts, or any related systems or networks;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any security or authentication measures;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through denial-of-service attacks;
- Introduce viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other malicious or harmful code;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service except as permitted by law;
- Bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical restrictions.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to support@lynkpilot.com rather than exploiting or publicly disclosing it. See our Security page for more.
4. Fair Use and System Load
The Service is offered for your organization's internal business operations. You agree not to use automated tools (bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access or extract data without authorization, or to place an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure. We may apply rate limits and other technical safeguards to protect the Service and all of its users.
5. Data and Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the data and content your organization enters into or uploads to the Service, and for ensuring you have all rights necessary to do so. You must not use the Service to process data in violation of applicable law or any third party's rights, and you must handle any personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
6. Enforcement and Suspension
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, we may remove or disable access to offending content, and we may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation and any legal or security risk involved. We may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account administrators. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
